Calling all overwhelmed doers living on autopilot...
Those who want to do less crap + feel more fulfilled...
Who tend to focus on everyone + everything...except themselves. Oops, right? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.
I’m Jen Ammer and I’ve BEEN THERE. I’ve waited around for things to magically change; staying stuck in those feelings of exhaustion, confusion, overwhelm, and unfulfillment in my personal life and in my career.
Any of these other elephants in the room feel familiar?
+ Struggling to find balance
+ Not knowing or being able to communicate what you want and need
+ Feeling stuck in career or relationship that doesn’t light you up
+ Feeling trapped and don’t know how you could possibly get out of this place
+ Dreaming of feeling more happy and comfortable in your own skin
+ Longing to being able to make confident decisions
+ Certain that there’s gotta be more
+ Worried that these changes should be easy and because you aren’t making them that there is something wrong with you...
Well I am here to tell you there is nothing wrong with you, you are human and us humans are not meant to do this life thing alone.
I can list all of those experiences because I was there too and for years used to feel the exact same way as you (and if I’m being really honest, these are all things I still work as I build my new way of life where I feel balanced, confident and true to myself).
The specifics might be different but I guarantee I have been in your shoes and have had the same thoughts and feelings as you.
I tried everything: I pushed, I pulled, I did ALL the things. I tried controlling all the people around me, trying to get them to do what I wanted to do so that I would feel better and less anxious. I even tried just straight up feeling so lost, stuck and overwhelmed that I would do nothing and hope things would magically get better..and of course they did not.
But as they say,
if nothing changes.
I hate that quote but it is so true!
And I definitely learned that firsthand. This is why I have such a big heart for what you are going through and an unwavering belief and confidence in you that you can find that happiness and make the changes that you are so badly seeking.
I know this is supposed to be all about how I woo my clients with fancy hooks... but that's not me.
I’m a real person and before we go any further, if you haven't already, I want you to go read my story so you can see if I am someone you can connect with.
You back? Still interested?
Great… let’s do this.
If you feel like you wanna throw up a lil in you mouth then you are on the right track.
Yes, really! This means you’re onto something; that you’re shaking things up and making a move in a new direction. I want you to know you are not alone and do not have to walk this journey on your own!
What my clients have to say about working with me:
"Working with Jen was truly a life altering experience. As someone that suffers from depression and social anxiety it isn’t and easy task for me to communicate openly. Jen on the other hand made me feel comfortable, safe and most importantly gained my trust. Jen really helped me get past my preconceived perception and stigma associated with mental health. Jen helped me gain valuable life skills to change my thought process, to think and see things positively, to be confident in my true self, and I am now moving forward on a new exciting path. For anyone looking for assistance, Jen is a great communicator, motivator and listener. From my heart, Thank you Jen."
"Before I started coaching with Jen I thought I was living life as it should be. I was putting everyone first before me. I also thought that feeling stressed was a good thing. I didn’t know what I was really feeling. After a couple of sessions with Jen, we took all of my feelings as a whole (personal and professional) and uncovered who I really was. With her gracious assistance I recognized my old habits were not productive and I wasn’t showing up for my family, friends, work team or (most importantly) myself. She provided relentless support, love and genuine care. I cannot thank Jen enough for all the heart and soul she put into my personal journey to greatness."
"I had been going through some personal and relationship issues. I had tried an online self help series and been to see a counsellor, which were both helpful, but really only in the short term.
Jen made me feel strong and capable to do the work I needed to do to help me not only get through this difficult time, but tools to get through challenges that continued to come up in my life. Working on myself, learning how to accept myself, identifying what was going on in my head and being able to deal with it in a different way, were life long skills that Jen taught me.
After working with Jen for several months and learning to ask myself important questions, understanding where certain thoughts and feeling were likely coming from and using the tools she gave me to work through these issues, I felt confident enough to deal with these issues by using positive self talk, journaling and meditation. I would refer Jen as a life coach to anybody looking for an open minded, thoughtful and caring person to give them the tools they need to become a more confident and mindful person in all aspects of their life."
